This role operates in a fully remote setting, allowing you the flexibility to initiate meaningful interactions and support from your own home while engaging with students and their families via virtual platforms. As part of our school-based program, you will leverage innovative telehealth technologies to connect with students effectively, providing timely assessments and interventions that support their mental and emotional well-being. • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of students through virtual interviews and observations, as well as a review of relevant educational and medical records. Analyze emotional, social, and environmental factors that may affect their academic success and rehabilitation process.
• Deliver individualized counseling and support to students and their families, addressing issues such as emotional well-being, behavioral concerns, and family dynamics that impact their school experience.
• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and other members of the educational team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that consider each student's unique psychosocial needs.
• Assist students in navigating community resources, including support groups, vocational rehabilitation, or housing assistance for those transitioning to greater independence.
• Provide essential education and support to families about local community resources and post-rehabilitation services to ensure continual care and support.
• Participate actively in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions back to school or into other care settings, emphasizing the importance of community and family involvement in each student’s recovery journey.

Our patient population primarily includes school-aged children and adolescents who face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related issues. As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in addressing these challenges, helping students not only to manage symptoms but to develop coping strategies and emotional resilience that will benefit them both academically and personally.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is mandatory.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required to practice.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions in a remote setting and build rapport with diverse families and educational professionals.
• Proficiency in utilizing virtual platforms and tools essential for conducting assessments and providing counseling sessions.
• A commitment to professional ethics and a strong grasp of confidentiality and legal considerations in working with minors.

• Previous experience working in a rehabilitation, educational, or medical setting is highly desirable.
• A deep understanding of common adjustment issues, grief reactions, and effective coping mechanisms, specifically as they relate to school-aged children.
• Experience in using evidence-based practices and interventions in a digital environment.
