The Opportunity:
As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.
Supporting the Department of Defense (DoD), you will help shape the future of Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) for the Armed Forces. You understand that modern military education requires more than policy knowledge, it demands precise coordination, expert analysis, senior-level communication, and mission-focused execution.
We're looking for a seasoned professional with joint education experience who can navigate complex accreditation processes, senior leader requirements, and multiagency coordination. In this role, you will provide daily support to JPME programs, advise senior leaders, facilitate high-visibility working groups, and contribute directly to national-level education policy that impacts the entire Joint Force. You will play a central part in analyzing, preparing, coordinating, and evaluating education programs and policy documents, ensuring JPME compliance with directives, supporting doctrine and education integration, and enabling the mission of developing world-class joint warfighters. You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience working with Joint and Service staff organizations, including their functions, missions, and interrelationships
  • Experience assisting with developing or assessing joint education programs, accreditation materials, and senior-level education policies
  • Experience facilitating conferences, working groups, and project meetings, including preparing briefs, managing coordination timelines, and supporting leadership decision cycles
  • Experience supporting policy development, reviewing position papers, and providing recommendations aligned with senior-leader priorities
  • Ability to deliver high-quality communication to senior military and civilian leaders, including at the general or flag officer level
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience supporting military education or senior-level headquarters organizations, or Master's degree and 4+ years of experience supporting military education or senior-level headquarters organizations

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Joint Staff service or working in a joint, combined, or operational education environment
  • Experience supporting Officer Professional Military Education Policy or JPME compliance reporting
  • Experience in the Process for Accreditation of Joint Education (PAJE)
  • Experience managing organizational workflows and documentation, and supporting SOP development related to education or staff processes
  • Experience coordinating with DoD educational institutions, curriculum developers, accreditation bodies, or senior-level working groups
  • Knowledge of Outcomes-Based Military Education (OBME) concepts
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, to communicate complex and highly technical education matters clearly to various audiences

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
