• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations specifically for patients dealing with weight-related issues, including obesity and binge eating.
• Utilize standardized assessment tools to guide therapy selection and tailor individual counseling sessions to address emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges related to weight management.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans based on the specific needs and preferences of each patient, ensuring a holistic approach to their wellbeing.
• Educate patients about the psychological implications of weight control and the importance of behavioral changes in achieving sustainable results.
• Collaborate with medical specialists to provide integrated care that encompasses all dimensions of patient health.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Stream Mindful Medication, Inc., you will primarily work with a diverse group of individuals seeking support in managing their weight through psychological interventions. Your expertise will be crucial in helping patients navigate the emotional and mental hurdles involved in weight control, contributing to their journey toward improved health and wellbeing.

• A Master's degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field is required.
• Must possess a valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for effective patient engagement and documentation.
• Ability to lift and move up to 15 pounds occasionally as necessary.
• Requires distinct visual capabilities, including close, distant, and color vision, along with depth perception.

• Experience in working with obesity-related conditions or eating disorders is highly desirable.
• Prior familiarity with electronic health records, particularly the EPIC system, enhances your ability to integrate seamlessly into our workflows.
• Previous roles involving group therapy facilitation or teaching are advantageous.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional excellent benefits include:
