The Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) is implementing Epic, and we're looking for an experienced Epic Continuous Educator to lead ongoing training, workflow optimization, and user adoption across the organization.

In this role, you'll work alongside clinical leaders, operational teams, Epic analysts, and Principal Trainers to ensure employees have the knowledge, confidence, and support they need to successfully use Epic. From classroom instruction and personalized coaching to at-the-elbow support and system optimization, you'll play a key role in improving efficiency, adoption, and patient care.

Requirements:

• Provide direct, on-the-floor workflow optimization and system efficiency training to clinical and administrative staff
• Analyze user utilization analytics (e.g., Epic Signal data) to identify adoption gaps and deliver targeted personalization support
• Partner with Principal Trainers and core analysts to modify training curricula based on user issues
• Transition focus dynamically toward full-time Epic support as implementation timelines approach system go-live milestones
• Deliver continuous system upgrade education and lead efficiency workshops to maximize organization-wide system return on investment

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Education, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Organizational Development, Information Technology, Instructional Design, or a related healthcare, education, or technical field required. An equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience may be substituted, with one (1) year of additional relevant experience accepted in lieu of each year of required education.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare education, clinical training, adult learning, healthcare operations, electronic health records (EHR), or enterprise software training required.
• Candidates must successfully pass the Epic Sphinx Assessment as part of the interview and selection process to be eligible for employment in this position.
• Experience developing, delivering, and evaluating instructor-led, virtual, one-on-one, and at-the-elbow training programs for healthcare technology, Epic applications, or other enterprise software solutions is strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting Epic implementations, workflow optimization, end-user adoption, change management, instructional design, curriculum development, competency validation, or organizational learning initiatives is preferred.
• Working knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, healthcare workflows, change management strategies, learning management systems (LMS), healthcare technology, and training best practices preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to assess learning needs, develop engaging educational materials, facilitate training sessions, evaluate learner competency, analyze user adoption metrics, and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance system utilization.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, organizational, communication, customer service, coaching, and relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clinical leaders, operational departments, Epic analysts, Principal Trainers, and technical stakeholders.
• Epic certification, accreditation, or proficiency in assigned Epic application(s) preferred.
• Certification may be required based on the assigned application or role responsibilities. Professional certifications related to healthcare education, instructional design, organizational development, or training (such as ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE), or equivalent) are preferred but not required.
• Clinical licensure (e.g., RN, LPN, or other healthcare credential) may be preferred based on assigned training responsibilities, but is not required for all assignments.
• Other clinical, technical, or professional certifications may be required based on assigned responsibilities.
• Must maintain all required certifications, credentials, and continuing education applicable to the position throughout employment.
