American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of med/surg experience and Epic proficiency on a night shift schedule.

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a large academic medical center setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Floating required to units of equivalent or lower acuity within the health system as needed
• Epic EMR — experience required
• Telemetry monitoring and IV starts are core skills for this role

• Active OH RN license or compact license recognized in Ohio required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of med/surg experience required
• IV start and telemetry (tele) skills required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference; co-worker references are not accepted
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

• Local candidates are accepted
• Former employees of the facility are eligible to apply once they have been away for 6 months or more
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required — candidates must complete this process promptly after accepting an offer; candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet as soon as possible
