Position Summary

VNA Health Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Coding Review team as a Clinical Data Coordinator/OASIS Review. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing OASIS assessments, supporting ICD-10 coding activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting documentation excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities

โ€ข Review OASIS assessments for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance

โ€ข Ensure documentation is consistent with the Plan of Care and medication profile

โ€ข Submit OASIS data and resolve rejections or discrepancies

โ€ข Identify trends and communicate findings to leadership and clinical teams

โ€ข Provide ICD-10 coding support as needed

โ€ข Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, federal, state, and agency regulations

โ€ข Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support quality patient outcomes

โ€ข Review clinical documentation and recommend corrective actions when appropriate

Qualifications

โ€ข Current NJ RN License required

โ€ข BSN preferred

โ€ข OASIS Certified or actively pursuing OASIS Certification required

โ€ข Minimum 3 years of home health experience required

โ€ข Strong knowledge of OASIS, ICD-10 coding, and Medicare regulations
