Salary: $90,000-$150,000 per year, DOE

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic and dedicate team of professionals. We are a growing firm with a dedicated team. We are looking for an moderately experienced associate attorney to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law, a keen eye for detail, and excellent research and writing skills. We pride ourselves on communication and working in a collaborative, mostly remote, environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious attorney to grow and develop their career. We offer full-time remote work with a flexible schedule and a lower than industry average billing targets. We pride ourselves on providing quality work but also having a life that is not only the practice of law!!

Our ideal candidate will be located within New Mexico. However, those willing to travel to New Mexico, as needed, will be considered. This is a remote position with the availability of being hybrid in our satellite Albuquerque office.


Benefits Offered:

Health, dental, vision, and life insurance are available 90 days after employment begins. Bar fees and CLE's reimbursement are also covered after six (6) months of employment.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of cases, including drafting pleadings and briefs.
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, and other pre-trial and trial proceedings.
  • Represent clients in court, including real estate, business partnership disputes, general litigation matters, and personal injury.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients, including litigation strategies and settlement negotiations.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and other team members to achieve case goals.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and court decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all case-related activity.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to legal cases, including document management and legal document preparation.
  • Utilize Westlaw and other legal databases to conduct research and stay current with legal developments.

Requirements:

  • A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Mexico State Bar.
  • 2+ years of experience in general litigation, real estate transactions (preferred), business partnership disputes (preferred), or personal injury (preferred).
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Ability to litigate effectively in court.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in legal administrative tasks, including document preparation and management.
  • Experience with legal databases, including Westlaw.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Pay is DOE within listed range.
