• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' needs and formulate individualized treatment plans that align with their therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions for diverse client demographics, such as individuals, couples, and families.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches to guide clients through evidence-informed practices aimed at addressing their unique situations, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques.
• Encourage clients to actively participate in their therapeutic journey by setting realistic objectives and milestones, and providing continuous support and feedback.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional training and development to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor at The Dream Works, Ltd, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your role will involve fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to share their experiences and work collaboratively towards their mental health objectives. This diverse client base requires adaptability and cultural competence, as you will be facilitating treatments for people from various backgrounds and experiences.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of Vermont.
• Demonstrated ability to connect with and provide therapeutic support to a diverse range of clients.
• Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for effective relationship-building with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting.
• Experience utilizing telehealth technologies and platforms for counseling.
• Familiarity with case management and collaborative treatment planning.
