This is a full-time, remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home in Macon, Georgia. As a Remote Mental Health Counselor at Life Mend, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions through secure video chat, focusing on clients' mental health and wellness.
• Encouraging open discussions regarding clients' emotions, experiences, and insights to foster self-discovery and personal growth.
• Actively advocating for your clients by helping them outline their goals and aspirations within therapy.
• Utilizing your clinical skills to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and develop tailored treatment plans based on a solution-focused approach.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records as required by regulatory standards, while keeping administrative tasks to a minimum.

Your clients will consist of stable adults who have been carefully screened to ensure they are appropriate for teletherapy services. With a focus on low-acuity cases, you will work with individuals seeking guidance and support for their mental health challenges, allowing you to concentrate on providing meaningful interventions without the complications associated with severe mental health conditions. Additionally, we’ll align you with clients whose needs match your expertise and specialty areas.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid and current license to practice independently in your state, specifically as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to create a safe and empathetic therapeutic environment.
• Proficient computer skills to navigate our therapy platform and online counseling tools effectively.

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth counseling, familiarity with solution-focused therapy techniques, and prior work with adult clients from various backgrounds will be advantageous in this role. Candidates with diverse therapeutic approaches are especially encouraged to apply.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000, dependent on your work hours and case load. In addition to the base salary, we provide an attractive sign-on bonus and weekly direct deposit for assured financial planning. Full-time counselors are also eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend.
