We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Hartford Mental Healthcare Center. This full-time, remote position focuses on providing essential mental health support to students within a school setting in Greeley, Colorado. This position primarily operates in a remote environment, allowing our LCSWs to work from home while engaging with students virtually. Additionally, occasional onsite visits to schools may be required to build rapport with students and staff. The position encompasses a work-life balance, primarily sticking to regular business hours, with some flexibility to meet the needs of students during evenings or weekends.

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to identify the social, emotional, and environmental challenges faced by students.
• Develop personalized service plans with defined goals and interventions, regularly monitoring progress to adapt to students' evolving needs.
• Provide individual and family therapy to students dealing with a myriad of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and academic stress.
• Collaborate with students and their families to connect them to essential community resources, services, and support networks.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, which may involve risk assessment and developing safety plans for students in critical situations.
• Foster relationships with local community agencies and organizations to ensure holistic service delivery and effective advocacy for students.
• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of mental health issues and available services.
• Attend regular case conferences, team meetings, and participate in ongoing training to remain informed about best practices in social work.

The core focus of this position is the school-age population, particularly exploring the emotional and social challenges faced by students within educational environments. Many of the children serviced come from diverse backgrounds and may be experiencing trauma, behavioral issues, or academic difficulties. The LCSW will play a crucial role in developing coping mechanisms and fostering resilience in these individuals.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is essential for this position.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, community resources, and social justice principles.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with students and their families.

• Prior experience working within a school setting or with youth populations in a social service agency is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and community engagement strategies is beneficial.
• Knowledge of cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations in addressing their unique challenges.
