• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients, utilizing tools from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to tailor individualized treatment plans that consider the diverse backgrounds and unique needs of each patient.

• Continuously monitor and assess patient progress towards mental health objectives, employing evidence-based strategies and therapeutic interventions to ensure effective outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment records and reports in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational procedures, using current technologies to enhance efficiency.

• Collaborate actively with patients and their support systems to develop comprehensive treatment plans, setting clear goals and highlighting desired outcomes based on patient preferences.

• Facilitate referrals to additional services or other healthcare providers, establishing and nurturing effective working relationships with clinicians and referral agencies within the community.

• Provide mentoring and educational support for students, interns, and volunteers, sharing your expertise to inspire the next generation of mental health professionals.

• Engage in clinical collaboration through chart auditing and peer-to-peer reviews under the guidance of your clinical supervisor, contributing to the professional development of your team.

This role primarily serves individuals and families impacted by cancer, providing them with essential coping mechanisms and therapeutic support. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate the emotional and psychological challenges associated with cancer diagnoses, ensuring they receive personalized care that empowers their mental well-being.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

We prefer candidates who have at least two years of relevant experience in mental health settings, particularly those specializing in cancer care or chronic illness support.
