Could you be our next Product Manager II? Globe Life is looking for a Product Manager II to join the team!
This role is responsible for partnering with business sponsors to manage product intake, prioritization, and roadmap development while aligning product strategy with the broader portfolio. The Product Manager II takes a consultative, value-driven approach to maintain strong relationships with both business stakeholders and engineering and delivery leaders, ensuring roadmaps are executed as promised and meaningful value outcomes are achieved. This role serves as the accountable delivery leader for assigned products and platforms, overseeing all intake, coordinating prioritization, and providing estimates.
This is a remote/work-from-home position.
What You Will Do:
  • Collaborate with business sponsors on product decisions, prioritization, and backlog refinement to maintain a consistently up-to-date, prioritized backlog of clearly defined features and stories.
  • Maintain product roadmaps based on delivery team capacity, sprint plans, and KPIs, and socialize progress with business sponsors.
  • Coordinate with Agile development teams on sprint definition, backlog prioritization, and release of MVPs.
  • Support scrum masters and development leads in identifying dependencies, constrained resources, and navigating development roadblocks.
  • Engage cross-functional stakeholders, technical architects, and engineering teams to develop the best solution options.
  • Enable iterative implementations to solicit stakeholder feedback early and often.
  • Ensure governance, standards, and best practices are adhered to across all team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement for delivery processes and prioritized initiatives.
  • Understand data, privacy, architecture, and information security standards to effectively bridge the gap between business and IT teams.
  • Summarize quarterly and annual value delivery to support business sponsors in crafting a compelling investment story for products.

What You Can Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent field.
  • At least 1 year of product management or related experience; insurance industry knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills across diverse and matrixed stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including experience interpreting data with limited context.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience translating user needs into technical user stories and making timely prioritization decisions.
  • Familiarity with Agile software delivery practices and various SDLC methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and building products with a customer-centric approach.
