Our Completions Team partners with on-site operators and customers to provide support and guidance to ensure the capacity and value of the well is maximized to its full potential.

As a Field Specialist - WBC, you will be responsible for:

  • Running multiple low to medium risk applications in one or more product lines in the Wellbore Construction & Completions and Liner Hangers.
  • Ensuring supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for job
  • Providing front-line support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job
  • Using experience and knowledge of applications to ensure products and services are of highest quality
  • Conducting on-the-job training for some Wellbore Construction/Completions applications as required
  • Be able to support in workshop activities.
  • Handles special projects as assigned.
  • Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Have High School Diploma or GED
  • Have 10+ years' experience as a driller and/or a field specialist preferred or experience working for a field services company in the oil and gas industry
  • Have Offshore experience and/or L48 liner hanger experience a plus.
  • Have Computer Skills
  • Have knowledge & experience with installation of downhole completions.
  • Have ability and willingness to work in remote locations
  • Must be able to work Rotation of 21 days on and 21 days off
