Job description

Are you a strategic leader passionate about building lasting client relationships and driving revenue growth? Scripps is seeking aSr. Manager, Client Successto lead a dedicated team focused on enhancing client satisfaction, retention, and growth across our linear and digital advertising platforms. This role is critical to expanding our market share and ensuring revenue sustainability by delivering exceptional service to local and national advertisers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Lead and manage the CRA team, promoting centralized processes that foster stronger client relationships and drive sustained growth and retention

  • Act as the primary point of contact for selected key accounts, ensuring that client needs are met while maximizing satisfaction and engagement

  • Stay informed on industry trends, client business evolution, and internal linear and digital product developments to ensure proactive client service

  • Train and mentor the sales team on Scripps in-house attribution system and other attribution products and services

  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and stakeholders to deliver integrated linear and digital services to clients, maintaining and enhancing client relationships

  • Develop and implement tracking mechanisms for client investments using attribution systems to measure and communicate effectiveness and ROI to clients

  • Partner with sales staff and the Ad Operations Campaign Manager to devise pre-sales strategies and optimized campaign solutions that align with client KPIs and business goals

  • Utilize business intelligence and data visualization tools to convey KPI accomplishments, optimizing client retention and upsell opportunities

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • BS/BA in a related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience

  • Generally, 7+ years of experience in a related field is preferred

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • Background in media sales a plus

  • Deep understanding of broadcast stations with linear TV

  • Proficient in digital media and business intelligence tools

  • Exceptional analytical abilities and proficiency in data visualization and interpretation

  • Demonstrated success in using statistical analysis and research to drive business improvements

  • Familiarity with scenario modeling, pattern detection, and data engineering techniques

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong customer service and consultative relationship management approach in media

  • Proven leadership and team management skills

  • Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Knowledge of digital and online technologies, data-driven insights, and optimization strategies preferred
