JOB SUMMARY:
The Cleveland Cavaliers are looking for candidates to be a part of the 'Cavs Crew Entertainment Team (Part-Time)' for the 2026-27 NBA season! Reporting to the 'Sr Coordinator of Entertainment & Events', the Cavs Crew is the engine of the Cavs' fan-facing "show" at Cavs home games, responsible for the preparation and execution of game entertainment elements such as prize tosses / launches, prop placement / striking, halftime performance assistance, prize / contest giveaways, pregame fan experiences (such as Fan Tunnels, Honorary Ball Kids, etc.), and much more!
This position is an ideal fit for those with prior stagehand, production assistant, or event coordinator experience, and/or those looking to grow their experience in the professional sports industry. We're looking for individuals with a high motor, attention to detail, and who excel in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment.
*** This is a part-time role that requires working a minimum of 75% of all Cleveland Cavaliers home games, including some pre & post season events.
PAY RATE: $14.00/HR
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the Game Operations department with the preparation, planning, and execution of pre-game, in-game, post-game, and halftime entertainment elements. Including but not limited to:
    • Fan experience programs, prize tosses, contests, row/section giveaways, contestant selection, prop movement and placement, prize preparation, etc.
  • Assist the Game Operations department with non-game-day logistical / setup tasks, such as storage clean-up and re-organization, event rehearsals and preparation, etc.
  • Serve as a public-facing representative of the Cleveland Cavaliers organization during home games and events, and uphold the company's core values and "ISMs" at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior work experience in the live entertainment, theater production, event management/coordination fields is preferred.
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, offseason offsite outreach/community events and other ancillary events as assigned.
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 75% of all Cleveland Cavaliers home games.
  • Must be 18 years or older by September 1st, 2026.
  • Must be able to report to Rocket Arena three (3) hours before scheduled tip-off (typically 4:00-4:30pm on weeknights. Weekend times will vary.)
  • Must enjoy working with large groups of people and be comfortable being in front of a large audience.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from Rocket Arena.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • A self-starter with a high motor who can execute multiple tasks throughout the course of a game or event.
  • A team-player who is eager to be a part of a larger working group and proactively assist fellow team members as needed.
  • Possess a strong focus on positive fan engagement and being friendly and helpful to all guests while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Be able to carefully follow and execute instructions and directives as given from Team Captains and Sr. Coordinator of Entertainment & Events.
  • Be able to receive constructive feedback in real time from Team Captains and Sr. Coordinator of Entertainment & Events.
  • General knowledge and enthusiasm for the Cleveland Cavaliers and/or the NBA and its league entities is preferred.
