TheTravel is a rapidly growing online travel publication that is dedicated to inspiring people to explore the world. We are seeking a talented and passionate freelance travel writer to join our team and help us share unique and captivating stories about travel destinations, culture, and experiences.

If you're a driven writer who stays on top of travel trends and loves watching your work take off, you'll fit right in. We'd especially love to hear from airline and aviation professionals, pilots, flight attendants, and industry insiders with firsthand knowledge of fare classes, boarding rules, entry requirements, and breaking airline news.

Your Responsibilities

  • Choose topics from a shared pool, prioritizing the angles with the highest audience and traffic potential.
  • Research and write original travel articles built to engage readers and rank.
  • Pitch high-impact topics to our Editorial team.
  • Track how your articles perform and use those insights to improve each piece.
  • Follow TheTravel's Editorial Guidelines to produce unique, high-quality content.
  • Meet tight deadlines and submit consistently.
  • Work with the Lead Editor to implement feedback quickly.
