Where You'll WorkRemote near Raleigh, North Carolina! (Work from home.) Up to 30% travel for big meetings and trainings. During peak times, we do require 60-hour charge weeks. Peak times are Mid-Feb through April 15th and Mid-August to October 15th. Hours remain regular the rest of the year for seniors.


What You'll Do

As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for preparing and filing basic to advanced-level Federal and State tax returns in a timely manner. You will be expected to maintain open communication with internal Supervisors, Managers, and Principals to ensure quality assurance and workflows are continuing in an organized, efficient and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of individual and business taxation and the ability and willingness to work in a team environment to assist in all phases of engagement.


What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Generally, a minimum of 4+ years of relevant tax experience within a public accounting firm
  • Preparation experience in 1040, 1120S, and 1065. Bonus if you have any experience in 1041, 1120, and 709.
  • Systems we use: CCH Axcess, CaseWare, Workstream, Lacerte
  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of accounting is required, Master's degree is preferred.
  • Participates in career development programs to improve supervisory, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Licenses and Certificates: CPA license obtained and active.
