Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 6 years of experience in engineering design of medium- and low-voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution, including conveyance
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design
  • Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
  • Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Good computer literacy
  • Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges
  • Ability to lead a team of Electrical Engineers
  • Experience with Data Center or AI Factory projects

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • At least 3 years of data center facility design experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base

Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group, you'll contribute to projects that enable the heart of our clients' successful data center facilities engineering, design, and construction. In this role, you will have the chance to work on projects including the engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. This position is location-flexible in the U.S.

You'll provide design work, contribute to team technical collaboration, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with other portions of the design process. You may also interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site. You and the other members of your electrical design team will work closely with the broader multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents. Your responsibilities will include engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities. Design may also include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate our clients' continually evolving requirements. Additional responsibilities may include the management of quality, scope, budget, and schedule. Your role keeps our company connected, and we'll support you with what you need to be successful. This position is remote and does not require going into an office.ย However, Company do have offices throughout the US, and would welcome anyone who prefers to work in an office also.
