Position Overview

The Health Relieve Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our expanding team. In this full-time remote role, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to a diverse clientele, ensuring that our patients receive personalized and effective treatment plans designed to promote their well-being and recovery.

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while also engaging with clients via our outpatient office settings when required. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs of patients, followed by the development of tailored treatment plans that consider their specific circumstances and goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, while delivering sessions to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Lead psychoeducational groups and support sessions that address various mental health concerns, promoting community and shared experiences among participants.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and a multidimensional support system for patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, using your expertise and sound judgment to guide clients through challenging situations.
  • Educate clients about mental health conditions and treatment options, helping them navigate available community resources to enhance their support networks.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advancements in mental health therapy, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults experiencing a range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mood-related issues. Our diverse patient population includes individuals from various backgrounds and life experiences, allowing for a rich and varied therapeutic environment that promotes cultural competence and inclusive practices.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.

  • Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive assessments and creating treatment plans in line with client needs.
