We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager who can serve as a key connection between our U.S. team and offshore production team. This role will be responsible for taking on multiple engineering projects, understanding client and project requirements, communicating those requirements clearly to the offshore team, and providing the support needed to complete projects successfully. The right candidate will be organized, proactive, a fast learner, and comfortable managing several projects and stakeholders at once. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate multiple engineering/design projects from intake through completion.

  • Review project scopes, client requirements, standards, deliverables, timelines, and expectations.

  • Identify missing information, project risks, design requirements, and clarification needs early in the process.

  • Communicate project requirements clearly to the offshore production team.

  • Provide ongoing support to the offshore team throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Serve as a liaison between clients, internal leadership, supervisors, designers, and offshore team members.

  • Track project progress, deadlines, production status, and outstanding action items.

  • Ensure the offshore team has the information, resources, and guidance needed to complete work accurately and efficiently.

  • Review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and alignment with client standards before submission.

  • Help resolve issues, answer questions, and escalate concerns when needed.

  • Maintain organized project documentation, trackers, notes, emails, and client-specific standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong project coordination or project management experience.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to quickly learn new client standards, tools, and workflows.

  • Comfortable working with offshore or remote teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

  • Ability to clarify ambiguous requirements and turn them into actionable instructions.

  • Proactive, dependable, and able to follow through without constant direction.

  • Comfortable communicating with different personalities, departments, and levels of leadership.

Preferred Experience

  • Telecom, fiber, utility, GIS, CAD, or engineering design experience.

  • Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, QGIS, 3GIS, Vetro, or similar platforms.

  • Experience with permit drawings, utility coordination, FTTH design, or construction documentation.

  • Prior experience in a project manager, engineering coordinator, production lead, or QA/QC role.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal Engineering Project Manager is someone who can take ownership of a project, understand what needs to be done, organize the requirements, and guide the offshore team to completion. This person should be able to move quickly, ask the right questions, support the team, and keep multiple projects on track without losing sight of quality or deadlines. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift and where strong communication, follow-up, and initiative are critical to success.
