These competencies ensure efficient, accurate processing of engineering changes, which minimizes errors and keeps projects on track in a remote environment.

What is a remote engineering change order?

Remote Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) are formal requests to modify product designs, manufacturing processes, or technical documentation that are managed and executed by engineers working remotely. These changes may involve updates to specifications, materials, or production methods and require careful documentation, approval, and communication across distributed teams. Remote ECO processes ensure that all stakeholders are informed and that changes are implemented efficiently without physical presence at the production site.
