Energy Balance Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Therapist, licensed as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, to join our team as a full-time remote provider. Energy Balance Counseling Services is a community health clinic located in Hillsboro, Oregon, dedicated to advocating for mental wellness and providing trauma-informed care. This position operates within a fully remote setting, allowing for flexible engagement with patients through virtual platforms. Our technology-enhanced counseling capabilities ensure you can meet clients from the comfort of their homes or other safe environments. Monday through Friday, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will engage with patients, balancing flexibility in your schedule to accommodate specific needs.

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history, informing the development of effective and personalized treatment plans.
• Design and implement tailored therapeutic strategies aimed at trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing a variety of evidence-based interventions.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing recognized methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, to provide holistic care, ensuring every aspect of the patient's well-being is addressed.
• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, equipping clients with immediate coping mechanisms and strategies.
• Educate patients and their families on the psychopathology of trauma, empowering them with coping strategies and resources for additional support.
• Maintain precise and confidential electronic health records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in patient care.
• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development sessions focused on trauma-informed care best practices.
• Remain informed on the latest in trauma research and intervention techniques, striving for clinical excellence in patient support.

Our patients primarily consist of adults and adolescents who have experienced significant trauma, often resulting in PTSD, anxiety, and mood disorders. Your role will focus on building therapeutic alliances with these individuals, understanding their lived experiences, and guiding them toward recovery and resilience. The supportive environment you foster will be pivotal in helping clients process their trauma, learn coping strategies, and build a pathway towards healing.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a strong grasp of trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling a compassionate and non-judgmental relationship with patients.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital applications necessary for telehealth.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team focused on integrated patient care.

A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is highly preferred. Candidates with prior experience delivering trauma-focused therapies will be prioritized. Knowledge of current trauma therapy best practices and previous involvement in multidisciplinary teams are also beneficial.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
