ICF Resources, LLC: IT Project Manager, Business Analyst - Reston, VA

DUTIES:

  • Support all aspects of the software development cycle including requirements, design, testing, and delivery of energy efficiency tracking and reporting tools.

  • Work with stakeholders of IT systems to define system requirements and design approach.

  • Develop an understanding of client processes and procedures and assist with making improvements relative to technology. Work with a team of senior technologists to deliver solutions for clients.

  • Support users through training and providing one-on-one technical assistance.

  • Troubleshoot issues within our proprietary software, Sightline Tracking/Vision DSM systems to ensure a good customer experience and accurate data collection and reporting.

  • Mentor fellow team members and participate in shadowing and knowledge shares to train new team members.

  • Lead weekly status update calls with stakeholders to provide progress updates, answer questions, delegate tickets and troubleshoot issues.

  • Communicate across different departments lines of business. Contribute to a positive team environment.

  • Leading new program implementations, including testing of calculations, workflow items that include correspondence, task assignments, and customized general procedures.

  • Lead efforts in standardizing Small Business commercial programs and other initiatives. Streamline processes with ADI intake tool integration and automated checks, reducing manual efforts and enhancing efficiency. In addition to this, used ADI to engineer a new channel of energy efficiency products into the tool, thus expanding it's capabilities and maximizing market share.

  • Actively facilitate end to end delivery of design and coding of the Energy efficiency systems using HTML, XML, web services, REST, SOAP, Oracle and SQL server.

  • Coordinate with the Reporting team to analyze data requirements such as data flow, data dependencies, data mapping in the context of energy efficiency systems to ensure client data integrity. Actively participate in Power BI migration and assisting with testing.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or related field and 3 years of experience in project implementation, operations, and business systems OR Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or a related field and 1 year of experience in project implementation, operations, and business systems.

Prior experience must also include 1 year of experience with each of the following:

  • Development of standard system documentation, testing software (Sightline Tracking and/or Vision DSM) tracking issues and working with developers to ensure that requirements are being met.

  • MS Office products: Excel, Visio, Project, SharePoint and PowerPoint.

  • Development of standard documentation, including requirements specifications, use cases, design specifications, test plans and test scripts and other supporting system documentation.

  • Experience with issue tracking and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Power Apps, and/or Smartsheet.

  • Development of effective process documentation of complex IT system integrations.

Qualified candidate must demonstrate knowledge of writing basic SQL, HTML, CSS scripts and code.

Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience.

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience will be accepted.

There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $98,584.04 to $151,744 per year.

LOCATION: 1902 Reston Metro Plaza, Reston, VA 20190

Position eligible for up to 100% remote work. May be performed from anywhere within the U.S. + Travel required up to 1 week per year to company HQ in Reston, VA.
