Position Summary
JRP is seeking a motivated **Outside Sales Representative** to develop new business opportunities and grow an established customer portfolio throughout the Roanoke market. This business-to-business (B2B) sales role is focused on prospecting, lead generation, relationship building, and closing new business while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.

Compensation Range
$45,000-$60,000 based on qualifications plus commission (unlimited earning potential)
Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing new business.
  • Develop and grow an assigned customer portfolio while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Schedule customer appointments, conduct sales presentations, and follow up on opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, sales activity, and pipeline updates within the CRM.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors by providing sales activity reports and progress updates.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Represent JRP professionally while identifying customer needs and providing customized fuel solutions.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory (approximately 25%) to support customer development and sales initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of business development, outside sales, or related experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
