What is remote endpoint security?

Remote endpoint security refers to the strategies, tools, and practices used to protect devices such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets that connect to a company’s network from outside the traditional office environment. With the rise of remote work, securing these endpoints is crucial to prevent cyber threats like malware, ransomware, and unauthorized access. Remote endpoint security solutions typically include antivirus software, firewalls, encryption, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
