This position will be located Remotely in Puerto Rico. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What You Will Do:

  • Draft, generate, interpret, negotiate, and manage agreements, including those incorporating U.S. Government contracting requirements, of moderate complexity with periodic exposure to more complex agreements;

  • Review, interpret and process internal requests submitted by the Strategic Business Units (SBU) to support business objectives in alignment with Collins' standard practices;

  • Utilize standard guidance documents to conduct terms summary analysis in support of risk identification and mitigation, FAR/DFARS flow‑down assessment, and red lining of customer or supplier terms language, where applicable;

  • Work with Legal Counsel to understand and communicate contractual issues, including export control, cybersecurity, and federal compliance considerations, to internal stakeholders and external customers;

  • Communicate with leadership regarding risk mitigation analysis and to solicit approvals and signatures;

  • Participate in internal/external business discussions in support of the objective, including meetings with U.S.‑based program, supply chain, and compliance teams;

  • Document archival and contract artifact maintenance, as required;

  • Triage incoming requests via enterprise tools and provide timely, accurate communications and support to stakeholders;

  • Support cross-team collaboration for development/enhancement of tools related to standard work, identifying turnbacks/escapes/best practices and focus on continuous improvement;

  • Support internal and external audits, including those related to U.S. Government contracts, export controls, and regulatory compliance;

  • Influence others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies and practices;

  • Work autonomously with limited supervision while coordinating closely with U.S. and global partners.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

  • Prior experience administering contracts and interpreting contact language

  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization in English

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in Customer and Supply Chain Contracting supporting global stakeholders

  • Experience supporting U.S. Government contracting, including familiarity with FAR/DFARS clauses, flow‑down requirements, and regulated supply chains.

  • Experience working in a large, matrixed organization

  • Prior exposure to continuous improvement activities

  • Advanced degree similar to Juris Doctor or Licenciatura en Derecho degree

  • Knowledge of U.S. Government–related compliance areas such as export controls (ITAR/EAR), data protection, cybersecurity obligations (e.g., NIST 800‑171), or ethics and procurement integrity, is a plus.
