• Conduct assessments by engaging clients over the phone or in remote meetings, gathering comprehensive information to create effective treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support to clients in high-stress situations.
• Facilitate connections for clients to various resources, including community agencies and support groups, ensuring they receive the services they need.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions and progress, preparing necessary reports for internal review and compliance.
• Participate in regular training sessions and clinical supervision that will enhance your skills and keep you updated on best practices in social work.
• Recognize signs of child abuse and other critical issues, taking appropriate actions in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, incorporating their feedback and goals into the process.

You will be working with a diverse client population that includes children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of social and psychological challenges. Your role is crucial in providing a safe space for clients to discuss their experiences and feelings, thus promoting recovery and resilience. As you assess and support these individuals, your empathetic approach will foster trust and empowerment, essential for healing.

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Connecticut.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to listen actively and respond appropriately to clients’ needs.
• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders, crisis intervention strategies, and substance abuse issues.
• Proficiency in using common computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint for documentation and communication purposes.
• Valid driver's license, as occasional travel may be required for outreach or community collaboration.

• Experience working with individuals affected by trauma, child welfare, or mental health crises.
• Background in community outreach or engagement with social service providers.
• Previous work experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, demonstrating familiarity with treatment modalities.
