As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to deliver effective short-term counseling sessions for clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, addiction, and other behavioral health challenges.

• Participating in crisis intervention protocols, including conducting assessments, de-escalating situations, and, when necessary, activating emergency mental health services.
• Working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless client care, including sharing insights and strategies that enhance treatment outcomes.

Your work will primarily involve a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families who are seeking help for various mental health issues. You'll engage with clients from different backgrounds, allowing you to develop a well-rounded approach to treatment and gain deeper insights into the psychosocial factors impacting mental health. To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in behavioral science.
• A current and relevant BBS designation as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.

• Sound knowledge of mental health disorders and best practices in treatment.
• Valid driver’s license and insured transportation for potential home visits if required.
