As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at our organization, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and couples therapy sessions, both in a group and one-on-one setting.
• Developing tailored treatment plans based on the unique needs of families and individuals.
• Addressing a range of issues such as alcohol and substance abuse, psychological trauma, grief and loss, and interpersonal conflicts.
• Facilitating discussions about family dynamics, including blended families, communication issues, and adjustment to separation or divorce.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and methodologies.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, focusing on both adults and adolescents. Your therapeutic expertise will assist individuals and families grappling with a variety of challenges, including:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues
• Experiences of physical or psychological abuse
• Grief and loss
• Conflict resolution among family members
• Job stress and medical issues impacting family dynamics
• Navigating blended family situations and the consequences of separation or divorce
• Enhancing communication skills within family interactions

To qualify for this position, you must possess the following:

• A valid and active License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• A passion for delivering high-quality behavioral healthcare and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

While not mandatory, the following experience will enhance your application:

• Previous work in a community health setting or similar environments.
• A thorough understanding of behavioral health practices and therapeutic techniques.
