Job description

This is NOT a software engineering position and NOT a traditional SaaS Product Manager role.

Digital Acoustics is seeking an experienced, customer-facing technical leader for a unique role that bridges the gap between our enterprise customers, hardware/firmware engineers, and deployment teams. Please note that this is neither a software engineering position nor a traditional SaaS Product Manager role.
You will not need to design solutions yourself. Instead, you must understand them well enough to ask the right questions, define requirements, prioritize work, and communicate effectively between all stakeholders.
Currently, our Senior Software Engineering team handles multiple critical functions, including engineering leadership, technical support, troubleshooting, product planning, and deployment coordination. As our qBridge product enters commercial scale, we need to separate these responsibilities so that engineering can focus entirely on software architecture, product innovation, and advanced engineering. The Technical Product Manager / Customer Success Manager will become the operational bridge, improving responsiveness, increasing customer satisfaction, and allowing Digital Acoustics to scale efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Speaking confidently with engineers without needing to write code.
- Understanding customer problems and converting them into actionable product requirements.
- Earning the trust of enterprise customers and participating in technical meetings and collaboration tools like Slack.
- Organizing competing priorities across engineering, manufacturing, and customers.
- Coordinating firmware, software, and hardware releases.
- Working closely with engineering to remove ambiguity and accelerate development.
- Coordinating with manufacturing and supply chain partners.
- Thinking strategically about expanding the product into adjacent markets and identifying new commercial opportunities for qBridge beyond the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
