Email Marketing Specialist

Acceler8labs

Oakville, ON • Remote

Full-time

Re-posted 3 days ago

Job description

Acceler8 Labs is where growth gets personal.

We’re a performance marketing company founded by two former Facebookers who decided to build something better after seeing the gap between traditional agencies and the real needs of modern brands.

We believe scale isn’t about bigger budgets but smarter decisions. Our team has helped brands across the globe generate over $1 billion in revenue by combining sharp strategy, bold creativity, and hands-on execution.

We’re designed for the digital era, where everything evolves at the speed of light. Our work evolves alongside it, adapting to the industries, platforms, and audiences we help grow.

We partner with some of the world’s fastest-growing brands, from disruptive startups to global household names, to turn marketing spend into measurable business growth.

About the Role

We’re looking for a full-time Email Marketing Specialist who can turn email into a meaningful revenue channel for our clients.

This isn’t a “set it and schedule it” role. You’ll be hands-on in both the strategy and execution of email programs across a portfolio of ecommerce clients, building automated flows, managing onboarding, designing campaigns, and shaping an inbox experience that drives action.

You’ll work across platforms like Klaviyo bring a strong design sensibility to every send, and treat performance data as a feedback loop, not a report card.

The brands you’ll support are growing DTC and ecommerce businesses that trust us to build systems that generate real revenue. You’ll be responsible for making that happen, from the first welcome flow to a fully optimized retention engine.

You’ll also partner closely with our paid media team to ensure email and paid channels are aligned, telling a consistent story across every touchpoint.

Your success will be measured by the results you deliver and the quality of your work, not the hours you log.

As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will:

  • Build, manage, and optimize email programs across a portfolio of ecommerce clients using platforms like Klaviyo
  • Design high-performing emails using tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe XD
  • Develop and execute campaign and flow strategies tied directly to revenue outcomes, not just open rates
  • Own client onboarding end-to-end, from system migration and list setup to first send
  • Coordinate campaign execution across copy, design, segmentation, and scheduling, keeping everything on track and on brand
  • Align email messaging with paid media creative to ensure a consistent customer experience
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance, using insights to continuously improve results
  • Stay current on email marketing trends, platform updates, and deliverability best practices

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have 2+ years of experience in email marketing, ideally within an agency or ecommerce environment
  • Are highly proficient in Klaviyo, including flows, segmentation, and deliverability troubleshooting. Experience with other platforms is a plus
  • Have a strong design eye and hands-on experience creating emails and pop-ups that drive engagement and clicks
  • Can manage multiple client workstreams at once without compromising quality
  • Understand that onboarding sets the foundation for long-term success, and approach it with care
  • Communicate clearly and confidently across subject lines, briefs, and client updates
  • Are data-driven, able to interpret performance and take action
  • Work well independently while staying connected to the broader team
  • Live in Canada (we’re a remote-first team)

Why Acceler8 Labs?

We built Acceler8 to bridge the gap between agencies and brands, replacing complexity with clarity and collaboration. Our model is rooted in three pillars: Fuel (media), Spark (creative), and Insight (analytics), each designed to move faster, think smarter, and deliver measurable impact.

Here you’ll have the room to experiment, fail fast, and learn even faster. Your ideas won’t get lost in a Slack thread. You’ll be part of a team that values transparency, curiosity, and craftsmanship.

We take care of our people so they can take care of their work, their families, and themselves.

We offer:

  • Remote workdays so you can design a schedule that works for your rhythm
  • Flexible hours because great work can happen anywhere (and we trust you to know where that is)
  • Comprehensive benefits to make sure you and your family are supported, healthy, and cared for
  • Learning and certification opportunities to help you grow your craft, not just your title
  • Real autonomy because we believe in hiring smart people and giving them the space to do great work
  • The chance to build something that scales for our clients, and for you

If you’re ready to lead a team that’s redefining what performance marketing looks like, we’d love to chat.
