Elite Wellbeing Therapy is actively searching for a qualified and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity from Saint Petersburg, Florida. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and the convenience of working from home. Although primarily remote, our outpatient office in Saint Petersburg serves as a hub for collaborative activities, including case conferences and team meetings. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
• Craft and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to clients' specific personal goals, ensuring alignment with best practices in mental health treatment.
• Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, employing appropriate and effective therapeutic interventions to facilitate progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to deliver comprehensive client care and enhance information sharing within the therapeutic process.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, upholding the importance of trust in the therapeutic relationship.
• Engage in regular clinical supervision and case conferences, fostering a culture of professional development and continuous learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working with a varied client population, addressing a range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction issues, and mood disorders. Your expertise and empathetic approach will help clients build coping mechanisms and strategies to navigate their emotional challenges, ultimately enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
• A Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience conducting individual and group therapy sessions within mental health contexts, showcasing the ability to engage effectively with clients.
• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques relevant to a variety of mental health treatments.
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, along with excellent communication abilities.
• A commitment to ethical principles and maintaining client confidentiality, ensuring that trust remains at the forefront of client relationships.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in remote counseling or telehealth settings is advantageous, showcasing adaptability to technological tools used for virtual therapy.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic frameworks, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to cater effectively to a broad range of client needs.
• Experience in collaborating with other mental health professionals and participating in case coordination.
