This position supports a fully remote work setting powered by telehealth technology. As a licensed mental health counselor, you will have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from home or your preferred location, making it easier to balance your professional and personal life. • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions for clients grappling with an array of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
• Administer diagnostic assessments to understand clients’ needs, developing strategic treatment plans that align with their therapeutic goals.
• Engage in regular collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of professionals—such as psychiatrists, social workers, and educators—to orchestrate comprehensive care for clients.
• Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation, ensuring all information is accurate, confidential, and up-to-date.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development opportunities to remain informed about best practices in the field.
• Provide timely and effective crisis intervention, conducting thorough risk assessments when necessary.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• Active licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of New York.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, working with individuals, groups, and families.
• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and familiarization with telehealth technologies.

• Experience working within a telehealth environment, with an emphasis on remote client interaction.
• Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care or substance abuse counseling is highly regarded.
• Previous involvement in crisis intervention and risk assessment practices.

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and education.
