Job description

Position:Field Sales Representative
Job Description:

Richardson RFPD is looking for an experienced Field Sales Representative II for our Minneapolis, MN market. Richardson RFPD, an Arrow Company, is a specialized electronic component distributor providing design engineers with deep technical expertise and localized global design support for the latest new products from the world’s leading suppliers of RF, Wireless, IoT and Power Technologies. https://www.richardsonrfpd.com/    

As a Field Sales Representative II, you will engage with customers across our Minneapolis, MN and Kansas City, KS markets to create demand for our suppliers’ products.  

What You Will Be Doing:  

  • Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory, plan strategy and develop all key relationships to ensure strong foundation for solution selling. Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts who may be determining design opportunities and deal with existing business challenges. Ensure customer satisfaction as it pertains to supply chain management and other value-added services. Requires experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment. Extensive understanding of pricing programs and models within the electronics industry. 

  • Requires comprehensive ability to develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts, sell and market full set of Richardson RFPD offerings incorporating in-depth knowledge of Richardson RFPD’s key supplier lines.  

  • Must be able to prepare comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR), presenting strategic plans and implementation steps to grow sales, demand creation and improve customer service. Ability to lead regular QBRs with major customers that unlock additional sales opportunities. 

  • Must be able to promote and sell the value add, supply chain, and full life cycle programs offered by Richardson RFPD. Requires proficiency in sales tracking systems, SalesForce.com, Oracle Establish and ability to build relationships with key suppliers. 

  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions 

  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes 

  • This job profile requires the assignment and participation in a sales compensation plan. A portion of OTE will be variable and tied to specific sales-related goals as set forth by Arrow (70/30 spilt).  

What We Are Looking For:  

  • Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience. 

  • Experience as a manufacturer representative or distributor in RF/Microwave and power electronics semiconductors and IP&E sales is a key advantage.   

Work Arrangement:

  • Fully Remote in Minneapolis, MN or Kansas City, KS

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$84,300.00 - $160,603.17

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
