Job description

Reliability Engineer 2 (Remote)
Role Overview
  • Duration: Long-Term contract
  • Pay Rate: $65.00 - $75.00/hr

Key Responsibilities
  • Own availability, performance, monitoring, and incident response for cloud platforms and services.
  • Ensure production readiness (architecture diagrams, dependency mapping, logging/monitoring plans, backup strategies, and high-availability setups).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues including uncaught exceptions, hardware degradation, networking bottlenecks, and resource spikes.
  • Track and optimize key operational metrics: MTTR (Mean Time to Recover) and MTTF (Mean Time to Failure).
  • Design robust technical solutions for complex engineering challenges with high autonomy.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a similar technical role.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Certifications:
    • IAT Level 2 certification (required)
    • 1 or more Cloud certifications (required)
