Job Summary

Landis + Gyr is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sr Project Manager to lead complex, high-visibility projects. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of all stages of the project life cycle, have demonstratable experience executing multiple complex projects within stage gate & agile methodology to ensure that all deliverables are completed and approved by project stakeholders. The Sr Project Manager will be working with cross-functional teams to ensure products are launched on time and within budget.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
ย  ย Plan, execute, control, and coordinate the activities of a project team to produce deliverables agreed upon with customer contracts and project plans.
ย  ย Manage the project(s) and execute activities around the boundaries of scope, schedule, risks, and cost.
ย  ย Utilize the PMO's established project delivery procedures and processes to deliver against requirements for contracted projects.
ย  ย Report project status to the PMO and other stakeholders.
ย  ย Work within a stage-gate methodology.
ย  ย Manage external, internal, and capital project costs.
ย  ย Scrum management and metric analysis for Agile projects.
ย  ย Represent the Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers.
ย  ย Demonstrate strong influential leadership of interdepartmental project teams to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
ย  ย Manage change control & risk management processes. Accept change & identify risks to formulate response to setbacks with minimal disruptions.
ย  ย Manage budget planning, tracking and financial accountability for projects.ย 
ย  ย Negotiate and build positive relationships with key project stakeholders.
ย  ย Primary point of contact for customers, maintaining full responsibility for customer relationships, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term partnerships throughout the project lifecycle.
ย  ย Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.

Education and Experience:

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
ย  ย Working Conditions: Typical indoor office environment with the majority of time spent sitting and working on a computer using keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Occasional use of other devices such as: phone, copier/printer/fax, etc.ย

Pay is in the range of $111,200 - $147,725 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
