High-Speed Embedded Hardware Design

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in designing and developing compact, high-performance embedded computing platforms. This role emphasizes adapting and optimizing advanced CPU-based reference designs into custom hardware solutions while ensuring signal integrity, power integrity, and overall system performance. The successful candidate will engage in schematic design, provide guidance on PCB layout, and participate in hardware bring-up and validation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Modify and optimize existing CPU-based reference designs for custom embedded applications.
  • Design and review high-speed digital circuits, power distribution networks, and grounding strategies.
  • Support PCB layout activities with a focus on signal integrity and power integrity requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize board size while maintaining functionality and performance.
  • Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation of new board designs.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot board-level issues during development and testing.
  • Support new product development from concept through prototype validation.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
