Job description

Company Overview
Visiting Angels is a national, private duty network of home care agencies. We are proud to be the nation's leading provider of non-medical senior home care services. Our Angels provide in-home care, respite care, senior personal care, elderly care, companion care, and elder care services.
Work Location: This is a remote part-time contractor position. FLEXIBLE work environment and hours. 1-3 days/week. Day shifts and on-call available.
Primary Responsibility: This role will primarily assist during business hours scheduling client/team member shifts, and On-Call rotations.
Additional Details: Assistance is needed with day shift scheduling as needed. This role will assist the office team via picking up available day shifts and working with clients/employees to schedule shifts AND/OR capturing notes for the office team to handle after shift.
Job Summary
This is a fast-paced scheduling position that requires problem solving skills and the ability to create win-win solutions. Prior experience scheduling in Home/Healthcare highly desired.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Scheduling employee shifts
  • Managing caregivers
  • On-Call Shifts: Option to assist with after hours support if desired.
  • Nice to have, but not required: Able to serve as emergency/backup caregiver e.g. CNA. (Local applicants only)
  • Answering the telephones in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handling client issues and requests

Qualifications and Skills
  • Required: 2+ years experience working with staffing/scheduling tools.
  • Preferred: Experience with ClearCare scheduling software.
  • Preferred: Current or former CNA.
  • Preferred: Prior experience scheduling in fast paced environment
  • Background/ Experience in Caregiver Role
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Able to respond to clients/team members within 15 minutes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Some post-high school education, 2-4 Year Degree preferred.
  • Not required, nice to have: Some medical billing or process documentation experience.
