• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate patient needs and challenges, tailoring treatment plans based on individual conditions.
• Engage with trauma injury patients through telehealth sessions, actively listening to their concerns and providing empathetic support.
• Diagnose patients' mental and emotional disorders, employing clinically accepted methodologies to formulate appropriate treatment strategies.
• Design and implement evidence-based coping strategies and therapeutic interventions to assist patients in managing their conditions.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and their families on effective stress and trauma coping mechanisms that promote long-term resilience.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and community resources, such as social services and healthcare providers, to facilitate comprehensive care.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and continuing education requirements to uphold your National Certified Counselor certification.

This role focuses primarily on trauma injury patients who face complex mental and emotional challenges as a result of their experiences. Our patients include individuals who may have experienced physical trauma, emotional distress, or psychological challenges stemming from various life events. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding them toward recovery and improved mental health.

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
• Active and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working specifically with trauma patients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to facilitate effective documentation and communication.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with team members.

• Experience using Salesforce and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling best practices.
