Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions via secure video chat, maintaining a focus on ethical and compassionate practice.
• Employ solution-focused counseling approaches to tailor individual treatment modalities for each client.
• Develop personalized treatment plans by assessing client needs and establishing therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate insightful discussions to help clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and relational dynamics.
• Regularly evaluate client progress and implement strategies for developing healthy coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on stable, low-acuity adults, ensuring that they receive the appropriate care and support based on their unique needs. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Must hold a full, unrestricted license to practice independently in the state of Illinois, which may include:
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R)
• No limited or provisional licenses; candidates must have a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to connect with clients empathetically.
• Strong proficiency with technology and a commitment to utilizing digital tools effectively.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, previous experience working with low-acuity adult populations or in educational settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and ability to adapt to client needs can significantly enhance your effectiveness in this role.
