Work Environment

This role will be performed remotely, utilizing digital platforms to connect with students, caregivers, and other professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, group, and family therapy sessions, tailored to the specific needs of students and families.
• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify mental health needs, symptoms, and appropriate interventions.
• Develop and implement detailed treatment plans that are flexible and responsive to the evolving needs of clients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including educators and healthcare professionals, to create a supportive network for our clients.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Deliver crisis intervention when necessary, empowering clients to cope effectively and providing immediate support during challenging situations.
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities to continually enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this position is primarily on serving school-age children and adolescents who are facing a myriad of psychological and emotional challenges. You will work with clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and trauma. The role emphasizes the importance of a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach, ensuring that clients receive culturally competent and personalized care.

Qualifications

• An active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington is required.
• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in a school or community mental health setting.
• A solid understanding of trauma-informed care and best practices within mental health frameworks.
• Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational abilities, crucial for effective therapy and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, contributing to efficient documentation and treatment processes.
• Bilingual capabilities are a plus, particularly in languages common in the community served.
• Experience working with specific populations or demographics that may require tailored therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary between $80,000 and $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
