Position:
Join RPR as our new Senior Account Executive and become a key player in our growing Consumer team. *This is an in-office role Monday through Thursday at our Midtown Manhattan office. Fridays are remote.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional client service and account/project management
  • Facilitate and develop strategic plans/programs, including, but not limited to, press materials, media campaigns, and strategic partnerships
  • Lead specific media efforts focused on fostering impactful editorial relationships and generating significant media coverage
  • Demonstrate the ability to adeptly execute a full range of written materials, including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, status reports, and more
  • Oversee client projects (including events, launches, and media programs) from concept to execution—managing budgets, timelines, status updates, reporting, and junior staff, as needed
  • Bring industry/category contacts to the table, where appropriate
  • Communicate new and significant ideas to keep our clients relevant in the industry, from press pitches to contributing strategic thinking for campaigns
  • Serve as client point-of-contact on assigned accounts, coordinating multiple projects
  • Manage the work of AEs, AAEs, ACs, and interns

Required Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in public relations, journalism, business communications, or related field
  • 4+ years’ agency experience in the tech or finance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with national, state, and local media with a proven track record in securing press coverage
  • Already possessing established media contacts and relationships, while continuing to build new ones
  • Ability to work well with team members and take direction in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and detail-oriented
  • Deliver work on time without sacrificing quality
  • Creative professional with an energetic personality
