Job description

BRAINS & MOTION EDUCATION

Jr. Training Coordinator

Department: Operations & Curriculum   Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

Type: Full-Time   Location: Remote   Compensation: $23/hour

About BAM!

Brains & Motion Education (BAM!) is a nationwide K–8 enrichment provider delivering high-quality after-school and in-school programs across the country. We are a fast-moving, mission-driven team that takes the quality of our instruction seriously — and that starts with how we train and support our people.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Jr. Training Coordinator to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be the engine behind BAM!'s training content lifecycle — organizing, publishing, and refining the materials that prepare our instructors to deliver exceptional programming. You'll work closely with the COO and Ops leadership to produce polished training modules, coordinate instructor training schedules, and help us continuously improve how we develop our people at scale.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of instructional design, project coordination, and creative content production.

Key Responsibilities

Training Content Management

  • Organize, review, and maintain BAM!'s training content library across Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Slides) and our Moodle LMS
  • Publish and update training modules, ensuring content is accurate, current, and accessible to the right audiences
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from instructors, program managers, and leadership to inform content improvements
  • Maintain version control and naming conventions across all training assets

Content Development Support

  • Assist the COO and Ops team in building training modules, slide decks, and facilitator scripts using tools including Claude AI, ChatGPT, Google Slides, and other relevant platforms
  • Support the creation of visually engaging, clearly written training materials aligned to BAM!'s instructional standards
  • Contribute to the writing, editing, and quality review of scripts, assessments, and module copy

Training Scheduling & Coordination

  • Coordinate instructor training sessions in partnership with BAM!'s Operations Directors and Program Managers
  • Manage scheduling logistics, calendar coordination, and communication with training participants
  • Track training completion and flag gaps in compliance or participation

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in a training, operations, education, or content coordination role
  • Strong written communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Calendar)
  • Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to support content creation and editing
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Collaborative, proactive attitude — comfortable asking questions and flagging issues early

Preferred

  • Experience designing presentations or instructional content (slide decks, facilitator guides, e-learning modules)
  • Background in writing or reviewing training materials, scripts, or educational content
  • Familiarity with a Learning Management System (LMS) — Moodle experience a strong plus
  • Basic video editing skills or a genuine willingness to learn (e.g., CapCut, iMovie, Adobe Premiere) — hands-on training will be provided
  • Background in education, EdTech, or enrichment programming is a bonus

What We Offer

  • A collaborative, mission-driven team where your work has direct, visible impact
  • Hands-on experience with modern AI-assisted content workflows
  • Exposure to operations leadership at a growing national education company
  • Remote work environment with a collaborative, mission-driven team
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, 401k with a up to a 4% match, Voluntary Pet insurance,  HSA, FSA, DSA.

BAM! is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We encourage candidates who don’t meet every listed qualification to apply. We hire for potential and attitude as much as experience.
