The Customer Service Representative's job necessitates prioritizing all activities related to supporting our customers' order processing and fulfillment. The primary responsibility is the processing of customer orders and resolving issues throughout all stages of booking, planning, and delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Interacts with proper internal departments to gather the necessary information to resolve issues
  • Answer and process incoming calls, e-mails, and correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
  • Address customer needs and requests with a positive and can-do attitude.
  • Develops knowledge of product line, price, delivery time, and similar data as required
  • Enters orders into LOS with a focus on accuracy and compliance with internal procedures and requirements.
  • Works independently in a multi-department office environment
  • Advise sales representatives & brokers of customer order fulfillment issues and recommended resolution.

Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent multi-tasking abilities
  • Prefer proficiency in Microsoft Access & EDI.
  • Very strong communication skills, with the ability to respond calmly and professionally to customers and vendors.
  • Good problem-solving abilities and uses critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve problems in an efficient and productive manner.
  • Dependable team player and works well under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, 10 Key entries.

Education and Qualifications:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or related field

Education:
  • High School graduate, Associate Degree
  • Combination of experience and education will be considered
