MX is seeking an experienced Contract Senior Copywriter to support a high-visibility B2B client. This is a strategic opportunity to shape brand positioning, messaging architecture, and voice, then bring it to life. We're seeking a writer who can quickly become fluent in our client's business, understand the nuances of their technology and target audiences, and create content that is both strategically sound and highly engaging. You'll bring strong editorial instincts, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to balance AI-assisted workflows with exceptional human judgment and storytelling.

What You'll DoContent Development & Execution
  • Create high-quality, engaging content that strengthens our client's position as a leading provider of business integration solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing and subject matter experts to develop accurate, compelling messaging.
  • Write and optimize content across multiple channels, including:
  • Maintain consistent brand voice, messaging, and tone across all content.
SEO, AEO & GEO Optimization
  • Optimize content according to current SEO best practices.
  • Apply AEO and GEO principles to improve discoverability across search engines and AI-powered platforms.
  • Incorporate keyword strategies, search intent, and structured content approaches where appropriate.
  • Adjust content recommendations based on performance insights, industry trends, and evolving search behaviors.
What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of professional experience in copywriting, with agency background preferred.
  • A dynamic portfolio that showcases versatility across industries, audiences, and formats
  • Strong B2B writing experience, preferably within technology, SaaS, software, data, integration, cybersecurity, cloud, or related industries.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content for business audiences.
  • Experience writing for multiple stages of the buyer journey and a variety of stakeholder personas.
  • Demonstrated success creating long-form and short-form content assets.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and familiarity with emerging AEO and GEO best practices.
  • Experience using AI tools to support content creation while maintaining high editorial standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
Nice To Have
  • Experience with global organizations and international audiences.

Compensation Range: $65 - $85 hourly. MX believes it will pay this pay range for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on the applicant's experience, skills, and qualifications in addition to the requirements of the position. MX reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. This is an independent contractor relationship therefore ineligible to participate in MX's benefits program.
