• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, tailoring treatment plans that best fit their unique situations.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques that empower clients towards personal growth and mental well-being.
• Collaboratively set therapeutic goals with clients and track their progress, ensuring a dynamic and engaging therapeutic process.
• Utilize teletherapy methods to reach clients effectively, providing care in a manner that respects their comfort and lifestyle.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to uphold ethical standards in clinical practice.

Your work will primarily involve clients dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts. Understanding the unique cultural, social, and economic backgrounds of clients in Houston and surrounding areas will be essential in providing tailored support. A nonjudgmental, empathetic approach is vital in establishing trust and rapport, enabling meaningful therapeutic relationships that lead to impactful outcomes.

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ensuring effective engagement with clients and collaboration with colleagues.
• Strong interpersonal skills, fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively through exemplary organizational and time management skills.

• Experience in providing therapy to individuals struggling with addiction and related mental health issues is a strong plus.
• Prior experience in a community health setting or private practice will be advantageous to integrate smoothly into our team.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy practices is preferred.
