  • Partner with client Epic teams (Application Coordinators, report writers, interface analysts, and security/privacy staff) to secure access, agree on extraction methods, and remove blockers.
  • Travel to client health system sites to lead on-site data acquisition work, discovery sessions, and issue resolution.
  • Navigate the customer's organization - coordinating across their IT, Epic/informatics, and operations teams - to align priorities, engage the right stakeholders, and keep extraction work on track.
  • Serve as VytlOne's primary on-site technical point of contact during client engagements, representing the Data Acquisition Team professionally with senior client stakeholders.
  • Design and oversee extraction of Epic data using both reporting tools (Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer) and interface methods (Epic Bridges, HL7 v2, FHIR R4, SMART on FHIR).
  • Define and document interface and report specifications for required feeds, including prescription orders, patient encounters/discharges, covered-entity referrals, scheduled patients, location/unit, insurance crosswalk, and provider credentialing, as well as HL7 ADT, SIU, and REF messages.
  • Own the mapping of client-specific Epic data to VytlOne's canonical data model, and maintain the data input matrix as the source of truth for each client's feeds.

  • Provide technical mentorship and work direction to mid-level analysts, and review specifications and extract designs for quality and consistency.
  • Contribute to estimation, planning, and status reporting for data acquisition workstreams.
  • Develop organizational, business, application, and functional process knowledge; understand client data flows end to end to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
