What is a remote economic consulting summer internship?

A Remote Economic Consulting Summer Internship is a temporary, usually paid position for students or recent graduates to work with economic consulting firms from a remote location. Interns assist consultants with research, data analysis, and report preparation related to economics, finance, and business strategy. This internship provides practical experience in applying economic theories to real-world problems, often supporting litigation, regulatory, or business projects. Remote internships use digital communication tools, allowing interns to collaborate with teams and clients without being physically present in the office.

Interns often gain exposure to a variety of industries and case types, providing valuable real-world experience and opportunities for mentorship and career growth within the field.
