A Remote Ecommerce Editor is responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing content for online retail platforms. Their main tasks include writing product descriptions, updating web pages, curating product selections, and ensuring that all content aligns with brand guidelines and boosts online sales. A Remote Ecommerce Editor frequently works cross-functionally, coordinating with writers to ensure product descriptions and articles are accurate and engaging, partnering with designers to align visual elements with editorial standards, and collaborating with marketing teams to ensure content supports campaign goals and SEO best practices. Communication often takes place through project management tools, email, and virtual meetings. They have an incredible culture with flexible working hours, a rockstar leadership team, and an all-hands-on-deck philosophy with an emphasis on teamwork. They are looking for a Senior Product Manager, eCommerce Purchasing Experience, to lead the roadmap and execution of initiatives that improve the online purchasing journey and drive measurable business results. - Build business cases, user stories, and success metrics to guide prioritization of product initiatives
- Lead conversion rate optimization via A/B testing, checkout funnel experimentation, etc.
- Analyze customer behavior and funnel performance to uncover abandonment trends and improvement opportunities
- Partner with engineering and QA to improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of the purchasing platform
- Collaborate with operations teams to support product launches, pricing updates, and promotional rollouts
- Track key purchasing and conversion metrics, and communicate insights and recommendations to leadership
- Drive cross-functional alignment with engineering, UX, marketing, and digital media teams
Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years managing eCommerce products or customer-facing digital experiences
- Proven track record optimizing purchasing experiences, especially configuration, cart, checkout, and payment flows
- Hands-on experience with conversion optimization, experimentation, and A/B testing
- Proficiency in analytics platforms: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Heap, Mixpanel, etc.
- Experience partnering with UX, engineering, QA, marketing, and operations teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable product decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience building business cases and prioritizing initiatives based on customer and business impact
- Multi-brand eCommerce experience and/or an MBA are a big plus
- Exposure to manufacturing processes is helpful, but not required
