This full-time role allows you to provide essential mental health services in an outpatient setting, focusing on offering therapy and counseling to diverse clients in New Haven, Connecticut. Work Environment

This LPC position is primarily remote, providing flexibility and autonomy while working with clients. You will have access to comprehensive digital tools that facilitate effective therapy delivery. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse client caseload, developing strong therapeutic relationships while adhering to ethical standards and maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, reassess their needs, and coordinate future appointments, including planning appropriate discharge times when necessary.
  • Create and implement individualized, person-centered treatment programs in collaboration with clients, ensuring that their specific challenges and goals are addressed.
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation for each client, including detailed progress notes and assessments.
  • Conduct intake evaluations to assess new clients and determine their treatment needs and objectives.
  • Meet predetermined individual session quotas weekly, effectively managing your schedule while fulfilling client needs.
  • Engage in one-on-one supervision sessions to discuss progress, challenges, and professional development goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, holistic care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied clientele that spans different ages, cultures, and backgrounds, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health challenges. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
  • An active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.

  • Proficient in utilizing various computer software, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and Pimsy.
